We have been dating for 7 months. I am 32 and his age is 41 years old. During the 7 months, he said he does not introducr everone to his fanily. He only introduces people are special for him. After 7 months, he said he wants to have a future with me and thinking about long-term with me. He asked me when i would like to get married. I said i would wait most 2 years so i can earn more money to support my future family. He said how i would know the right person. Then he said he would wait 2 more years as well but he did not say that he wants to get married with me. By the way, we slept after 7 months. I waited that long
He invited me to his family gathering on Thanksgiving. Just because he invited me to his family union, do you think, is he serious or ready for commitment? Or introducing girl to a family does not mean anything?

I think that depends on a lot of things.Such as, cultural/ethnic/religious background.Saying that he ONLY introduces “special” people to his family might BE true, but it might also be something he says to make you FEEL special. For many people introducing a love interest to the family IS a big step. Especially if they would like their family approval.Personally, I would read TOO much into it.7 months in you ARE still getting to know each other. But you both might have an idea of whether you can see yourself with the person or not.
