The Fat Decimator System

I’m 16 and my bestfriend just recently turned 17. We are best friends. But recently, I have noticed some interesting things going on. He has been telling me that he loves me, he misses me, and lots of heart emojis. We have been bestfriends for almost a year. Everyone at my school makes fun of the fact how we are so close friends, always together, always hanging out outside of school but as of right now we are not dating. Everyone I have asked at my school thinks he is starting to like me more than a friend. Is he?

Relationship & Sex It is impossible as strangers to know how he feels about you. The question is how do you feel about him? Health And Fitness does-my-best-friend-like-me-as-more-than-a-friend-1 Does my best friend like me as more than a friend? Relationship & Sex What difference does it make? The real question is, how do you feel about him? If he’s just a friend and nothing more, then it really doesn’t matter how he feels does it?I understand if you think he’s going to make a move on you and you’re worried about how to let him down easy without ruining the friendship. However, if that’s the case, then in all likelyhood, the relationship would end because it would be unfair of you to expect him to squelch his feelings just to stay friends with you. I guarantee you he wouldn’t be able to do that.On the other hand, if you’re open to something more, how long are you willing to maintain the status quo? Would there be a point at which you would approach him first? If that’s the case, would you be prepared to handle a rejection without it ruining the friendship? After all, it would be equally unfair of him to expect you to squelch your feelings just to stay friends with him.So, decide if you’re willing to be more than friends or not. Then, see if he expresses anything more concrete about his feelings and act accordingly. If he never seems to get to that level, decide if you’re willing to broach the subject and risk ending the relationship. It’s fairly simple. However, simple doesn’t mean that it’s easy to do.

How do you feel about transitioning from friends to dating? What will happen next year when he is at University and you are in High School?I’m sorry that I cant answer your question about his feelings. The truth is that other than him, you are the person who knows the most about how he feels. It’s about time you practiced that most important of relationship skills, Communication, and talked to him about it. You might start with one of the questions I started this post with. I’ve got to say that no invitation to homecoming is not a very good sign. But a lot of people your age don’t date. Some are not allowed to date. It can be a complicated question.Summary: We don’t know what he is thinking and we only have your report to judge by. The best way to find out what his thinking is to take a risk, and talk to him about it.
