Might be a bit young, but I’m a freshman who likes a sophomore. Now last year he started giving me hugs when ever I’m about to leave, same this year. (Extra information: Our school is small, so I see him often the the hallways or after school.) I’m a bit confused on that, why does he hug me? He doesn’t do that to anybody else it’s just me oddly.(He casually gives other girls hugs, but not often.) I can’t help but think he has mutual feelings for me too, but I don’t want to jump in unless I’m friend zoned. Which isn’t much I can do about it, so I though i’d seek internet help (isn’t a smart idea, but why not.)

Hugging is NOT really any indication. I hug ALL my friends, always have. Nothing REMOTELY romantic about it.So are you “friend-zoned”? I don’t know. But since he hasn’t asked you out or try and actually spend time and get to KNOW you (by talking) – I would guess he is just being friendly.
