My closest friend, who is a female (I’m male) likes girls, but I really like her. Sometimes I get this vibe that she likes me too and could be bi, and I’ve indirectly asked her and she says “She’ll date whoever she wants to date”.
I don’t know what I should do now, and I don’t want to say something and ruin our very close friendship.

I think if her attitude is “She’ll date whoever she wants to date” – and NOTHING romantic has happened between you two, then it’s not likely that she feels the same way as you.You have a crush on her. That doesn’t mean that SHE will feel the same as you. She might like you, AS A friend.Personally? I would decide if you want to keep trying to be friends or risk it. Just remember if you DO tell her, that is something you CAN NOT take back and your friendship will NOT be the same. And if you decide you RATHER be friends you need to let those romantic notions go. Because friendship and romantic feelings/crushes don’t mix well at all. Someone will end up getting hurt, most likely you.
