Should I message someone to say I want to be his friend ?
About a year ago I started talking to someone and spent a bit of time with him, but at first was not that bothered about being his friend because I didn’t really know him that well and didn’t always find the time to spend more time with him . We don’t speak as much anymore which is a shame as id like to and he recently messaged me and I felt really happy but then hasn’t replied I think I would like to let him know that id like to be his friend and that id like to spend time with him but im unsure of what to say , how to say it and to not word my message in a way that may across as weird and obsessive because there has been times when I can get too attached to someone . im also worried that if he doesn’t reply I will feel upset so is it message to send him a message or not and just wait for him to message me or just to act on what I think is right?

What do you have to lose?If he think you are “weird” for saying hi, how are you? Then he won’t contact you back and that will be that… At least you will know, right? But if you don’t reach out… all you can do it regret that you didn’t do it sooner.
